Be a GMS team member, the most impressive part for me is I can understand the trends of ICT and through each project IDC can provide strategic insights to help different ICT players achieve their business objects, it gives me a sense of accomplishment as well.

My favorite part of my job is meeting the new and continuous challenges. Because the market is dynamically growing, and our clients always generate new needs which is challenging. When I involve in some new program, I need to renew my knowledge and garner information to meet their demands.

My colleagues help me successful in IDC. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and they are expertise in different fields. So, they are my strong backup when I meet some difficulties. I really do feel lucky that I could be a member in our team.

As an international company with an elite team, IDC is competitive, collaborative and diversified.

IDC is a potential growth and develop worldwide company. IDC had different offices around the world and it’s full of career opportunities. Once you set career goal, IDC will plan and help you to achieve.

IDC is a multicultural company and we had colleagues all over the world. When I encountered any problems or difficulties, I found that our co-workers no matter stay in different country or team would offer immediate assistance. The most that I enjoy working in IDC is our team work spirit and working environment.

Many useful resources are always available at IDC, including the surrounding colleagues, either junior, senior, or peer, and either local or remote. Combining with the chances to learn more from talking and sharing with people from different industries, it helps me understand better where we are today and where we are heading, creating a piece of success in IDC.

At IDC, I can learn and exchange great ideas with a vast variety of technology owners and industry executives. Beyond making a contribution to the team as defined by the job itself, in parallel I can also create additional value through learning new things and gaining more knowledge for myself, and become more matured. The working culture at IDC also provides the opportunities to manage my work-life balance, which is not easy to find in other organizations.

I’d like to say thank you to IDC management team as they have considered to develop our IT facilities as a mobile office concept. This concept is very helpful and very productive which enables us to work from everywhere.

With this role, I’m getting the opportunity to manage an entire event by myself and learn new challenges in every kind of event, which is getting increasingly interested every year. In addition, I also enjoy working on event creatives, this makes me excited when it’s presented in front of people.

Definitely the We-Day that was organized for our IDC office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was a fun filled outing where our entire office went to an extreme park called District 21. There were team building activities during which was interesting to witness colleagues show their true nature against their usual timid self in the office. Everyone was fired up with enthusiasm to win. I think that shows the spirit of IDC.

Opportunities are given to you regardless if you are a new comer or have limited experience. The learning curve is steep but I realize my learning capabilities have grown tremendously. There are great superiors and colleagues here at IDC who are always willing to guide and give you all the support you need.

I could best describe IDC as an empowering, positive and a mixture of people with different skillset, exposure and experience, each being highly supportive and inspiring in every way.

The environment where we are centered around working with strong team that is highly motivated and well organized and support system that allows everyone’s talent to be flourished.

I am part of Consulting group, so in nature, the projects I work on have their own uniqueness and scopes -- which bring different and valuable experiences and knowledge to me. There are many new terms, technologies, and business trends that I learn by doing this job. What is more exciting is that I have the chance to work with and learn from IT expert in IDC – which adds the coolness of the job. For the past 3 years in Consulting, I feel like I have added more capabilities in client management, problem solving, leadership and people management – which I believe are beneficial to my career and personal development.

Grow up seeing big tech companies dominate the world, I was curious and wanted to be part of it – and IDC seems to be the right place to start the journey. At some points, I want to be one of those IT experts and thought leaders in the country – who is able to help and provide valuable insights to anyone and IDC surely gives me an opportunity to do so.

I admire IDC support & desire for growth in their employees. I was privileged to be able to take a various training that helps to develop my career and knowledge.

Self-motivated, your ability to collaborate & quickly adapt to situations that arise during the course of business makes you a valuable employee in IDC.

IDC practices an open, respectful, results-oriented and family-like culture, especially in IDC Philippines. More than being professionals at various respects and on the job responsibilities, in IDC, individuals are encouraged to speak their minds and contribute in any way they can to the success of the business units they belong with. With an open and free culture, many individuals are driven to perform above and beyond the expectations, as the atmosphere encourages everyone to dig deeper, without the unnecessary and cumbersome organizational processes or SOPs. It is very important to note the family-like environment makes IDC a welcoming organization, where a newbie will not be daunted with worries or apprehensions but will be embraced as part of the team. This becomes more evident with We Days, take-a-newbie out for lunch, “get-to-know” activities in the Philippines and various team-building activities.

I have been in IDC for many years and it’s very welcoming, open, respectful and family-like culture that has kept me in the company. I appreciate the openness of the people, the willingness of each and everyone to help out in any way they can, the commitment of most business leaders to spend time with newbies for knowledge transfer and mentorship, the respectful manner that individuals treat each other, the single-mindedness of all IDC-ers to contribute to the success of the company, and the pride that everyone shares when they say that “I’m an IDC-er”. If we can come up with an official hashtag, it should be #ProudIDC-er!

The reason why I stayed with IDC for so long is because of how supportive my bosses are and it has given me the opportunity to venture in a new path, thus giving me a clear view of my career growth in the company. I like how the management valued the opinions of the employees no matter how small it is and how they make sure that the employees have time to unwind thru WeDay. The best thing I love about being in IDC is how IDC Philippines team treat each other as family and make you feel secure that they are always be there to support you.

When I think of IDC, the first thing that come to my mind is Growth, Innovation and Commitment.

There are two things that I enjoy the most about my role at IDC. Firstly, being given the freedom to create a relevant and effective solution for customers that makes a real difference, rather than selling an off the shelf solution that only ticks some of the boxes. Secondly, I love working with such a diverse group of people around the world, who have the same passion for technology and how it can transform businesses and lives.

IDC provided me with the unique opportunity to join an organization with a reputation for global research excellence and integrity. To work for a company like IDC comes up only one or two times in a lifetime and I happened to be in the right place at the right time when the opportunity arose.

I really enjoy the variety of work and types of people I get to meet. From CIO’s of large organization, marketing managers from vendor organizations to entrepreneurs from tech startups.

In the New Zealand office we have a small close knit team of 15, hard work is mixed with fun and humour. We hold regular social events, from wine tasting to games and quizzes, we’re a pretty competitive bunch. We often work individually but when required the team is great at coming together to help deliver large projects and events.

Definitely the people! The incredible wealth of knowledge and always willing to help culture that promotes knowledge sharing and hunger to exceed expectations.

My first presentation at the Mobility conference in 2016 – the amount of effort the team puts collectively behind the scenes is amazing. I had recently joined IDC and was naturally nervous but the support I received from colleagues was great. Be it preparing the presentation or sitting through countless rehearsals – the team was very supportive in ensuring it was successful.

IDC is a fun place to work, with friendly colleagues and management, makes it easier to work through the challenges.

I choose to stay with IDC because my work has always remained an interesting challenge. With each new year, I have learned new and valuable skills and having been here for long time, I gained very useful experience and insights from Finance, operations and Research, making my job demanding and interesting.

The empowerment to develop new data products, establish process, and build resources around them.

I highly appreciate the working environment which I can constantly learn from experienced colleagues all over the world, and greatly value the opportunities where I can contribute my own knowledge and skills successfully.

Being resourceful, willingness to learn and adapt, strong collaborative spirit, and respectful are some traits that I would rate very highly.

There is good coworkers and good clients. It can make good human network for employee.

People, Diversity, Harmony. When I joined in IDC, I was able to adapt to the company quickly because IDC has a friendly atmosphere. I think it's because most of members have been with the company for a long while.

I love Universal holidays of IDC. Maybe, most colleagues feel the same way because it gives some time to look back on the past year.

The fact that we get to interact with industry and technology leaders on such a regular frequency. Also, since IDC is a data driven organization, it makes it easier for us to holistically assess the market and applicable opportunities.

The idea of attending events and exchanging ideas is something that I enjoy the most. Also, access to research from the WW analysts and access to endless report repositories is something that I love about IDC.

I like the fact that IDC puts a lot of trust on its employees and I appreciate the flexibility it provides to complete the work on our terms whether it’s from home or from office. Managers are very supportive in this regard and hence I as an employee is able to have a good work life balance.

My favorite part of the Job is the lack of monotony, I am constantly motivated to work on new topics and try out new ideas to grow IDC business and reach. Managers give me a lot of room to grow by presenting me with the opportunities to meet new clients and drive projects.

• Leadership: Fortunately, from the beginning of my employment with IDC, I was privileged to work under good leadership. It has helped me function with complete trust. The leadership is always available to listen, suggest, motivate and guide.
• Offers Training Opportunities: I have experienced management always being open to offer training opportunities. Ensure that their subordinates are well equipped to perform their best.
• Flexibility: One more important criteria is the flexibility part. IDC’s flexi working hours helps employees keep the balance on both personal and professional front.

Success often is connected to getting the right advice or support from the right people. Its been my privilege to have great mentors around me. Constant advice, guidance and motivation from my bosses (Venu and Larry) has helped me come so far. I have learnt great deal about leadership and teamwork from my managers.

I always look forward to a dynamic environment and a role that offer interesting challenges to keep me excited throughout the day at work. At IDC, every day is unique and full of learning. The trust that IT leaders have on IDC is the X-factor which excites you to learn more about technology and people. When you start engaging with such real-time challenges, you realize that you are not only growing professionally but also becoming more disciplined and confident with your experience and understanding.
