Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights data from IDC’s recent special report on SD-WAN infrastructure, a global survey for 1,000+ current or prospective SD-WAN users. The survey data looks specifically at how respondents believe the SASE market must mature.

“One of the most important trends in the SD-WAN market is the transition to secure access services edge (SASE) architectures,” says Brandon Butler, senior research analyst, Enterprise Networks at IDC. “IDC’s SD-WAN Special Report Survey asked a series of questions about SASE adoption, deployment preferences, and — specifically — how SASE must evolve. Global current and prospective SD-WAN users cite the need for increasing the security efficacy of SASE security tools, bolstering integrations across SD-WAN and SSE tools, and enabling increased levels of visibility, analytics, and automation in SASE offerings.”
