Abstract
本調査レポートは、Generative AI（生成系AI）の活用において、高い関心を集めるグラウンディング／Retrieval Augmented Generation（RAG）について考察したものである。
グラウンディング／RAGは、ハルシネーション（幻覚）を防ぐだけではなく、汎用的な基盤モデルを業務（あるいは企業）特化型へと発展させることが可能なアプローチであり、Generative AIの導入を加速するであろう。グラウンディング／RAGは発展途上のアプローチであり、基盤モデルも継続して発展している。また、指定情報源（データベース）の構築や同データベースの検索においても、複数のアプローチが存在する。「グラウンディング／RAGの発展は、Generative AIに関わるエコシステムに大きな影響を与えることになる」と、IDC Japan、Software & Servicesのリサーチディレクターである松本 聡は述べている。
