Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights which professional and managed services are expected to see spending increases in 2024 based on Canadian respondents to IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey (FERS), Wave 9. The survey was fielded in October 2023. The survey compares the responses of Canadian IT executives with those of their peers worldwide. Respondents were asked the following question: "Compared to your likely final 2023 spending on professional/managed services, how will your organization's 2024 budget for the following professional/managed services purchased from service providers change?" The survey looks at the proportions of respondents that expect services spending to increase in 2024, stay the same, or decrease. The survey collected responses from 888 IT executives worldwide, including 105 Canadian respondents from organizations with 500+ employees.
