This Market Perspective provides insight into the current challenges faced by technology buyers with regard to their data management strategies. Data management is rapidly a critical skill all organizations need to master; however, many organizations in Asia/Pacific are not as mature as their European or North American counterparts due to historical and culture decisions made in the past. But this needs to rapidly change in the face of the AI wave that is currently hitting global markets. Fueled by GenAI, C-Suite demands for data-based products and services will create challenges for those that have yet to master the fundamentals of DataOps.
"There needs to be more focus on data management across Asia/Pacific," says Simon Piff, Vice President, Research.
